Summer holidays
Waves crash upon the shore
covered with Jagged rocks
shaped by the power of the
shore break.
Tons of water crashes
upon my head
as I peer out from beneath.
I take a breath inhaling the backwash
as journey onwards as the conditions get worse
with every swell getting bigger.
The water is so cold and dark
the thought of not knowing
what's beneath
terrifies me.
i chose this poem because it represents me and what i like to do in my spare time
